Biotreatment of Wastes
The efficiency of the bioremediation technique was performed by monitoring the decrease in fractions of crude oil (saturates and aromatics), Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) analyses, Microbial Activity by Respirometer, and Methodology and the Bacterial Density.

Maximizing Extraction Sustainably
With an increasing demand for Oil in the World, and the fact that Oil reserves are not growing at the same rate, the future of Oil Industry must rely on maximizing Oil extraction out of every field. Where in the 70's, only 30% of Oil was extracted from wells, in the 21st century it will be necessary to extract 60% or more, in order to meet the world's demand. Technologies must be made available to achieve this goal.
